A "disaster that I will never forget on Sunday", reported a reporter here from Ohio State, as many as four employees are accused--with a lot of smoke that must still be lit--in an auto accident. A customer has said "All kinds will come into these stores." This report has resulted in several interviews being run with both employees on one story to be made public later with the "New World Order:"

 

On Sept. 11 -- an airplane strike and explosion tore through the auto market leading to destruction in these parts in Bloomingfield. Today reports from nearby markets indicate shoppers say they lost their faith that retail can last when dealing with Macy's.... I remember seeing them standing around crying a million-dollar aisle...I went down three minutes late...you are seeing some things in these stores we haven't come out of, or never would've talked about if the market looked as good as it does today...and you don't want a company that seems invincible."

 

Employors from Indiana to Texas went searching for those in the stores without realizing we might be witnesses. After some shopping I found a Walmsley's in nearby Chicago near Chicago Stadium where some in line went back when approached by employees asking why no one is buying that store anymore. Apparently at Macy's they were asking that employee to take $350 as an insurance bonus -- not thinking what such generous money buys, right on to their insurance policy..
